The Houston Housing Authority recognizes that success depends on delivering top-quality service to our customers, and we are committed to doing just that. The Agency’s customers include participants in the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Public Housing residents, property owners, and applicants.
The Houston Housing Authority has pursued its commitment to Customer Service with renewed focus in recent years. In late 2011, the Housing Authority doubled the size of its Customer Call Center to make it easier for customers to quickly get the answers they need from well-trained, courteous Customer Service Representatives.
In addition to expanding the Call Center, the Agency increased the number of forms available for download from the Client Forms section of the website and began posting important dates and events on the Agency’s Homepage. Combined, these efforts are making it easier for customers to get the information they need without having to come to the Central Office or wait on the phone.
Looking ahead, the Housing Authority is exploring new ways that technology can make accessing our programs, doing business with us and reaching our staff even easier. While that effort moves forward, we are dedicated to providing customers with the quality service they expect from their city’s Housing Authority.
