The Houston Housing Authority (HHA) is currently impacted by Winter Storm Uri. The HHA office has been closed since Monday, February 15, 2021. Staff responsible for handling public information requests are experiencing related power outages and are unable to access equipment, records and resources. As a result, the HHA is suspending the applicability of the requirements of the Texas Public Information Act at this time. Should conditions permit, the HHA anticipates resuming processing of public information requests on Monday, February 22, 2021.
